Coming Together

Sometimes, Beaconites want to get together just for the sake of getting together. There are opportunities for such gatherings. Not surprisingly, both involve food!

Circle Dinners

Circle Dinners are gatherings of about six people who share a pot-luck dinner at the house of one of the participants. In ancient times, sharing food was an important ritual and meant the people eating together were sharing their lives as well. Circle Dinners are a great way for members to get to know each other better in an informal setting. Contact Donna Hamilton to find out more.

The Lunch Bunch

The Lunch Bunch is an informal weekly gathering of people who want stimulating conversation along with their lunch. Various regulars host each week. Participants bring a brown-bag lunch and the host provides tea. If your work schedule allows it, drop in! New people are always encouraged. The host for the week is either in the Sunday order of service or announced at the end of the service.
